SPS safety package (Safety Protection System): the IDEAL 4001 document shredder features a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening as an additional safety element. It also comes with an EASY-SWITCH multi-functional switch element that uses colour signals and illuminated symbols to guide the user. Automatic reverse with automatic shutdown prevents paper jams, as does the automatic shutdown when the collection container is full. The device also has an electronic door lock operated via a magnetic switch and a motor with double fuse protection. ZERO ENERGY standby mode means: automatically shuts off completely after 15 minutes. The operating width of 400 mm makes the document shredder ideal for lists printed from computers and large formats. ECC+ (Electronic Capacity Control+) refers to an ongoing display of capacity utilisation during shredding. Automatic oil injection onto the cutting rollers guarantees a reliably consistent and high cutting capacity. The IDEAL 4001 document shredder also features durable, all steel blade shafts made of special hardened steel, as well as a quiet, powerful 640 W AC motor for continuous operation and robust, encased gears with a twin drive system. The shredded material is collected in a practical collection container with a collection capacity of 165 l. The product is GS tested and meets CE standards.
