Whether by truck, container ship or air freight: goods on pallets often need to withstand challenging conditions during long journeys. The transport process has an effect on the load, along with dirt, dust and moisture. Optimal product stabilisation is therefore essential to protect goods. At kaiserkraft, you’ll find a large range of different products for securing goods on pallets.

Comprehensive protection for all goods – the many ways of securing goods on pallets

Before loading your pallets, we recommend that you ensure that the pallets are properly reinforced and that suitable packaging material is used. The following products are available:

Pallet interlayers: to protect stacked goods and cardboard boxes on the pallet from impacts and slippage, interlayers made of solid cardboard, corrugated cardboard, foam or plastic represent the ideal solution, depending on the specific use. Interlayers made of 500 g/m² heavy solid cardboard in Euro and industrial pallet dimensions are also suitable as pallet underlays and supports. Pieces of corrugated cardboard cut to size cater to different DIN formats and pallet dimensions and are also suitable as edge protection with additional grooves. Anti-slip interlayers made of foam are waterproof, suitable for use with foodstuffs and prevent damage due to vibrations. Reusable interlayers made of robust plastic (PP hollow sheets) provide protection from moisture and dirt and are perfect for securing heavy, bulky loads during transport.

Pallet covers or bases: this means of securing and stabilising pallets made of single and double fluted corrugated cardboard reliably protect your goods from transport damage, dirt and moisture. The pressure resistant covers and pallet bases, which are cut to size to suit Euro pallet dimensions, make edge protection unnecessary when strapping.

Protective covers and cover sheets: protect your goods from moisture, dust and dirt – by using waterproof protective covers made of film in pallet format or with robust PE tarpaulins. Cover sheets made of film printed with the warning ''do not stack'' signalise that these goods are particularly sensitive to pressure.

Transport and environmental protection in one and the same product: at kaiserkraft, we place a special focus on the environmental compatibility of many of our products. The majority of our interlayers, covers, bases and edge protectors are made from solid or corrugated cardboard – a natural and renewable raw material that is also easy to recycle.
